For installment #3 I teamed up with my brother Sam to lay some piano on top of what I was working on. Noteably this is the first piece of music we've publicly released together since we were in a band in high school....

We ended up jamming for almost 30 minutes, so after listening back and thinking "wow this is really long...who's going to want to listen to this?, we decided to segment it out into three movements.

Sort of magically despite not really planning it, the improv did sort of already form itself into three distinct sections which was discovered once we started mixing.

The movements all sort of landed around using different techniques on the Matriarch. It started out with using the Moog Matriarch in drone mode, second movement was doing a little sequence I recorded in and than freely soloing some melodies and the final movement was another sequence in paraphonic mode creating these funky chords.

Equipment used: Moog Matriarch, Folktek Nano Garden, Moog DFAM, Make Noise Mimeophon, ALM Busy Circuits Pamela's New Workout, Muteable Instruments Tides and a bunch of other eurorack modules.
